Choosing the right packer for your patch repair is essential for success. Below are some guidelines to help you navigate through the selection process. If you have further questions, contact APS technical support 888-258-9359
1. CLEAN AND PREP
Before you can install a patch, the host pipe needs to be cleaned and prepped. Check out our high speed drain cleaning equipment to learn more.
2. INSPECT & MEASURE
Once the pipe is cleaned and ready, gather all of your patching equipment and begin preparing the patch near the access point.
3. WET OUT & INSTALL
Using your Patch Kit, begin the install process. Be sure to always test that your packer holds pressure. Once Installed, inflate the packer to the appropriate pressure with your air compressor.
4. REMOVE PACKER / RETURN TO SERVICE
